Tastes predominantly of lemon rind, some very mild kerosene flavours. Has a long finish in the mouth. Moderate acid will see this last a long time yet.
Having had a 2006 Hanlin on xmas day which was under cork closure, you could be forgiven for believing this was a 5 year old wine. The screwcap closures definitely produce a slower evolution in the wines development and will provide longer term cellaring.

Turned a golden hue, some acid still remaining and could be cellared for a couple more years. Flavour notes of Kerosene/gun barrel are present but fade quickly, the wine has matured through that stage. Back palate flavours of honey, dried apricot and lemon rind.

Interesting flavour profile but textbook Piccadilly Valley in the Petaluma style. Flavours of green skinned fruits on front palate quickly giving way to nectarine and the vanilla notes of the american oak. Some residual sugar remaining.
