Was in a non drinking time so took some 10 days to finish this bottle but it held up surprisingly well. Plenty of fruit with some spice. A real bargain, like the Old Vines seems to be every year.

Maybe not amazing grace but this is an excellent bottle of Grenache. A far different wine from the Spanish variety I am used to--which I also like. This is much lighter in both color and body but in place of the fruit bomb is a wine of finesse--black pepper and desert herb.

Improved a notch from the bottle I had in December. Can't beat the QPR.

Many somelliers and other good tasters refer to this as "match stick"and consider it a highly regarded quality in chardonnay.My son doesn't like it either, but my wife and daughters don't even notice it.
