After sharing a few bottles of DR Stephen's Pinot Noir, tasters always comment that this is a very unique or unstylistic of a typical PN profile. This 2019 seemed to really shine after 30mins of air in the glass. At first a bit tight/closed and tannic, hints of smoke, forest floor, graphite and menthol. Once it had some time to breathe tart cherry cola flavors began to emerge, bright red fruits like strawberry and raspberry began to develop and come forward. Long finish, medium acid, nice deep ruby color and integrated/smooth.

Enjoyed at Keen's Steakhouse. Cork in excellent condition, no signs of deterioration. On initial pour huge bouquet, fruit forward however color was a bit off...brownish but not prune juice. After 30mins in the glass she really started to shine. Blue fruit forward, good acid, tannins fully integrated, 20+ second finish. I don't think she is going to improve any but I think she has a few more years in this window. Enjoy!

Tart red fruit with a touch of smoke and forest floor. Loads of depth, jammy, high acid. Was a little young and could have benefited from another year in the cellar or a 30-60min decant.
