Opened with friends with Delmonico steaks. Beautiful nose of cedar, cigar and dark fruit. The taste is ethereal. The fruit and tannins are finally in good balance. The finish is long and the mid palate rich. It has come into it’s own and will drink well for another 10-20 years in my opinion.

Unbelievable! Gorgeous with a Long life ahead. Starting to brown in the bottle. Honey, apricots, orange peel and a hint of tobacco/smoke. The finish was ethereal. We thought a 750 mL was too much for 6 people, but that turned out to be false. Enjoy.

On this night, this bottle was firing on all cylinders. Typical floral Margaux nose with dark cherry and raspberry bouquet. I could have simply sniffed it in my glass all night long but could not resist putting it to my lips. Ethereal. Cedar, cigar, cherry and complex. Beautifully integrated tannins. I have enjoyed many Chateau Margaux vintages dating as far back as 1934 and this is probably in my top 3 from this producer. Drink or hold. You won't be disappointed either way.
