Mature bing cherry, cola black pepper with bright acidity and prominent tannins.

Initially this wine was very tannic and almost an abrasive finish. It improved over the next two days. Dark fruit with opulent mouthfeel and richness. Some secondary characteristics of saddle leather and earth with smooth silky tannins. Very enjoyable at day two. IMHO needs lots of air. Probably will improve with a year of cellaring. Very attractive QPR.

Bright and crisp. Strawberry, peach and finish with bright grapefruit (not sauvignon blanc ) acidity.

4/3/2022 12:03:00 PM - I think this wine is hopeless. I've tasted it numerous times over the years. Maybe I'll braise some lamb with it, although I wouldn't want to ruin the lamb!
