Really great nose of dried cherries and sweet dark fruits. Great mouthfeel. The sweetness from residual sugar others have mentioned. Great fruit - medium finish. Was really surprised it is still drinking this well. This was a nice surprise for a Monday.

This was a special bottle. Learned today that out very good friend Jim maller died. We have drank many bottle of wine together for almost 20 years. We have shared stories and good times and many good wines. All from his cellar.
About 10 years ago we tasted this wine at Ridge during passport. It was spectacular. But the story of the bottle variation and how we sought out the right bottle brings back such good memories.
We drink this tonight in your memory Jim. Thank you for all the great times.

2/11/2021 9:12:00 AM - I was looking at your cellar. You appear to be a fan of Sonoma wines. In particular, Carlisle wines. I have been buying Mike's wines for many years. Great prices and excellent wines. Going out to Sonoma next month.
