Bottle at veritas last month and another at Thanksgiving. I really enjoyed this wine. Showing a decent level of maturity with incredible verve and plenty of miles to go. Sensual mouthfeel, medium weight and elegant Cote Rotie flavors just a pleasure to drink. Stunning complexity on the nose, great finish.

Drank 3 bottles from a perfect ocb in the last 30 days. This is a very nice wine. It shows some aged tones of toffee, caramel and red apples, pastry and freshness. it is a bit sweet and works great as a dessert wine! Some complexity and nice weight. it can come off a little heavy at times as the acidity is not strong, much more ripeness. Strong wine, but the 1989 is notably better with more acidity. GIven the elevated price of 90, I'd buy 89

Sortof a straight down the middle pink to light pink color. Little reticent on the nose but some red fruits and minerals. Very straight forward in presentation, but a notably soft profile. A big step down. This is almost too soft but with Ok fruit. So much less acid than the 96. An Ok wine, but not inspirational and not worth the freight to me --I won't be cellaring any of this.
