Tried with Coravin. First bottle had hint of volatile acidity. So tapped into another one, with the same result. In addition to the typical forest floor smell there was some volatile acidity. Color is light, as one would expect for a nebbiolo. Unexpectedly and contrary to other reviews, there are almost no tannins. wine is rather light in body. What is going on? Wine was stored in aircond cellar, purchased from producer directly. Will wait for a while, then may decant a bottle for a couple of hours.

Coravin with aerator. Old reviews still valid. A bit reductive, closed. Tricky to let it breathe with Coravin. Next time, I will try to pull out part of the bottle with Coravin for a decant overnight.

Second Coravin draw from same bottle (was at 50%). Acidity still high, a touch of Sherry smell. Maybe some oxygen entered after Coravin? Had it with Burgundy snails, great combination as the acidity cuts through the butter fat.
