Drinking in a very nice place. Very fruit forward with red varietal fruits. Smooth on the palette with well integrated tannins. Average length finish. Should have several more years in bottle. More Burgundian then Bordeaux like. Really not an expression of Portuguese wine.

At special dinner with family. This was an incredibly beautiful expression of an aged champagne and especially Pol Roger. Competes with their Churchill. Sorry, nothing more but find it, buy it. Had I had time to savor and sit with the wine the score could easily been higher.

7/25/2022 7:53:00 AM - Hi BillyT. I'm new to McLean, I'm trying to make some wine and/or cocktail friends. Was in Arlington before. I'm 37, 2 kids. Hit me up at tcassidy07@gmail.com.
10/13/2018 12:00:00 PM - Have a great day Billy :)) Usually go down to W VA to visit my Aunt, Harper's Ferry for the amazing history of our country, and drive through the beautiful Shenandoah region. You are spot on, frighen beautiful place!! Hanging in over here, drinking is always a problem to find time away from the business and not have to wake up early; but...about to test some 2016 CDP bangers for future tell and plans of what to expect in 10-30 years, been obliterating all the stores in a 2 hour radius. Prefert C Giraud, Isabel Ferrando Colombis (my wine heroine (hero..not the drug), if you know her inform I will marry her), and Janasse Vieilles Vignes up 1st. What you been doing/drinking with yourself down there in ole' tobacco growing land?!
10/12/2018 9:54:00 PM - Billy...how goes it my man? Talking with my Aunt in West VA today and thought of you. West VA, where you can crack a beer driving, at least that is what my Aunt's boyfriend did on the way back from the store as I sh*t my pants in the Hicksville of good ole' USA, lol, love it down there! Although, stuck in time they are!
8/8/2018 7:57:00 PM - Hello Billy
Sure, I know Shira Tsidon who works now at the Norman Boutique Hotel, Tel-Aviv, which has two quality restaurants.
I may have met only once Yuri - but we don't know each other...
You can get my email from andrew(at)cellartracker.com
Are you visiting European wine regions from time to time?
best regards, Yagil
6/30/2014 5:29:00 AM - David, no worries. I just wasn't certain. Joe asked if I minded him contacting you. I would love to seel to you and Josh. They have all been impecably stored. I also need to sell those past 05 for similar reasons. However, anything I have over 4-6 bottles of are open to be sold. I'm 64 on Tuesday and have more wine then I can drink. I want to sell to break even so I will put together the list and pricing this week and share it with you. I'm flying to NYC today so it probably won't be until Tuesday before I can get it to you. Feel free to share with anyone interested. If you share your email I can send directly to your email.
6/30/2014 5:08:00 AM - Billy, sorry. This is David Lew. Saw joe on Friday. He told me about your new burg obsession. I can see your cellar inventory but if you've got a list of what your unloading, I'd love to peruse it. U trying to sell at world market value or closer to what u paid? I'm Chinese but not the Lafite hoarding type from Beijing. I suspect that josh would b interested as well. I'm not interested in anything after '05. Just don't have decades to wait on anything younger to come around. Thx.
6/29/2014 6:09:00 PM - I hear u r selling your Bordeaux and taking the dark path toward burgundy. I'd be interested in perusing your wines for sale. Is joe baker brokering the sale? Let me know.
6/3/2013 7:51:00 PM - Thank you for your kind words. I have actually been soooooo busy I was thinking myself that I have ignored the board too long. While I thank you for your comments I certainly only try to be as honest and fair as possible with my notes even if the wine is not one of my favorites. If it is well made and a good solid wine then members need to know that as well and not just my bias. Thanks again.
6/2/2013 11:31:00 PM - I saw an older note on the '08 WillaKenzie Kiana which reminded me that I have not seen any post of yours lately. I always enjoyed your posting and just wanted to say hi.
