I decanted for about an hour. Very aromatic nose, good volcanic soil coming thru. I thought very elegant with a great finish. I thought this could last another 10 years, so Im not sure if some bottle variation happened to the other tasters here, but this bottle was very good. 94pts

I was expecting a little more from this wine. A touch monolithic compared to some of the other wines on the table that night, so that could be affecting my scoring here. Dark chocolate, toast, and rich fruit. This was lacking a little acidity, and I think that was the major bummer for me. But, no hint of greenness and not overly oaked. Drink'em if you got'em.

Last time I had this bottle was about 5 years ago, and it was still very tight. This wine is singing right now, and will only get better. Was like a dream. If you have multiple bottles of this, open one soon! If you have only one bottle, maybe wait another year or two as it will only get more complex. I have four left and will parcel them out in the next 5-10 years, but I can imagine this having no problem drinking well for the next 15!
