Deliciously ‘Grenachy’ with earthy and slightly smoky notes of leather, tobacco and vanilla. Ripe cherries, raspberries and plums dominate the fruit picture. The small percentage of Cincault gives the wine vaguely perfumed notes. Medium-bodied, relatively smooth, and quite dry. Long finish that also comes with cassis, balsamic and charcuterie. A really good CdR!

Delicious blend of Syrah and Manto Negro from Mallorca. On the nose: dark fruit, primarily blackcurrant and blackberry, along with hints of forest floor, mint, thyme, and a touch of cinnamon. On the palate: fig, vanilla, and dark chocolate followed by herbal notes of sage and thyme. Silky smooth with a full-bodied texture and a distinct yet balanced acidity. Absolutely delicious paired with ribeye steak with Béarnaise sauce (where the acidity held up well against the rich sauce) and homemade fries.

I have a soft spot for Nerello Mascalese, which I think is like a really successful mix of Pinot Noir and Nebbiolo. However, in this wine, it's more Burgundy than Barolo, which is totally okay – but I miss some of the roses, tar, and the deliciously sharp tannins. Volcanic-soil with red fruit and tart cherries. Delicious acidity and a relatively long, strawberry finish.
