Woha second bottle of the lot and the first was not very good. This has sous bois notes, a lot of spice and verve. Some tannins in the back end add to the structure. Really very good.

Havent written a note in a while but this wine compells me to. Shockingly intense and full of mint, peaches, honey, nutmeg and sweetness with just enough acidity. Clean but enormous in body. Wowza for a 96. Drank a 99, 02, 98, 95 recently and it kills all of them. 89 and 90 recently were in another league.

Creamy nose with lime pit, white flowers and yellow fruits. The palate has a touch of fresh cream, a tiny bit of chalk and some nice yellow fruit. Very clean finish.

11/3/2013 5:40:00 PM - Numbers don't tell me much unless I know an exact scale someone is using. I would rather read thoughts including my own than a number. The few times I use numbers is because I'm in a big tasting that requires a ranking. Those are more for me :)
