Opened New Years Eve. Had a sharp old taste at first, mellowed after open for an hour, still dark color, strong cigar and tar, very little finish. Some guests suggested it was a good cigar smoking wine.

OK, I read your reviews and went out and bought a bottle of this yesterday. I would pretty much agree with the reviews above. . .and conclude that this wine is flavorful, drinkable, rather smooth and sweeter than I expected. Definitely worth $4, probably worth $8. So I’ll concur with the 225% rating.

Lo Amo!!!! My absolutely favorite. My days of searching for an everyday/special occasion wine combo are over. In my best non-wine snob words, it is a recently discovered enjoyable crowd-pleaser, which is on its way to becoming an old tried and true favorite. Buy it by the case(s)! Pairs well with cheese plate, particularly with Spanish cheeses like Manchego, but nice enough to have with a Filet Mignon dinner. And for only $4 bucks! Can’t beat it!
