This was an absolute pleasure. Not my first deMoor wine, but the best. Tremendous tension. So much lemon, saline, and mineral. This reminded me of the first time I had a Raveneau - it is just a archetype of Chablis. My only bottle, and it will be missed. If the 2019 is even better it should be a total knockout.

Day one is very primary and grapey. Nice, good with food, but not showing a ton.
Day two - Wow!! This is a major delight. Serious blackberry jam and cedar, with a spice/garrigues note of lavender and thyme. A hint of burned rubber on the very end of a long finish.
It’s 14.5% which is higher than I normally like but I would never have guessed it based on the taste. I drink very little Barbera and this is a legit fine wine. Highly recommended and would likely handle a couple of years of cellaring nicely.
Burlotto rocks!!

This was lovely to drink outside on a hot spring day. Pale yellow with vigorous bubbles. A touch of toast on the nose but showing more fruit and spice - pear, lime, and some cardamom in the background. Lively acidity and a full, rich palate. 60% Chardonnay/40% PN, partially barrel fermented. Biodynamic. Happy to have more bottles.
