Pnp. Quite floral with red berries and light earthy accents to the fore. Cool red berries, earth and spice with a touch of citrus in the mouth. Pure and precise, guided by an unexpected level of freshness and acid considering the vintage. Nice structure as well, but not dominated by such - bares more than a slight resemblance to a Volnay. Should have no problem developing for 7 -10+ years but drinks well now.

Decanted 1hr. Showed more smoky wood and tannic grip than I'd expect from a wine at this level. Fruit seemed maybe a touch roasted as well. This felt more like a vin de garde (fruit notwithstanding) which is not what I'm looking for in second label juice. To my palate this needs mid-term cellaring at least. Not really sure why at this level.

Fresh, red fruited. Not the most complex, but opened up nicely over the course of an hour. Enjoyable now, though assuming proper storage no hurry on this one.
