Still a lively dark garnet color. The complex nose has a nice intensity, showing kirsch, sweet fruit, licorice, a bit of mint, vanilla and some alcohol. A bit hot on the palate, but less so than the 15.6% alcohol would indicate. Good intensity and a longish finish. Seems more like a southern Rhone than an Argentine Cab/Malbec blend.

The nose is characteristic for a Chilean SB, dominated by passion fruit. Good acidity, and not cloying or overly alcoholic. Not complex, but it doesn't try to be. Everything an everyday-drinking sauvignon blanc is supposed to be.
