Heute in sehr guter Form, schöne Substanz, dabei elegant und frisch, Eine Menge Steinobst, zarte Fruchtsüße, elegant und süffig, langer Abgang, top! Noch einiges Potenzial, keine Eile.

Inky color, no signs of age. Zero fruit on the nose, fine wood and earthy notes. Smooth and refined tannins on the palate, austere, some bitterness in the finish. Still a long way to go. Day 2: still very young impressions, some sour cherries on nose and palape

Since the bottle was stored in a natural cellar under high humidity, the etiquette has some issues. Can’t read the alc, but I know from my cellartracker, that it is vintage 2004. we opened the bottle to honour the year when cellartracker was launched and it’s 15th anniversary. I think, it had a different name back then, but can’t remember. Here in Austria the weather is already nicr and warm and our cat is laying lazy in the sun. Perfect time to enjoy some king size shrimps, fried in olive oil with garlic and lemon thyme. This wine should be the perfect matchup. The color is yellow gold and the wine needs only a few minutes in the glas to gain its composition after all those years in the cellar. First impression on the nose was an oaky whiff, that integrated very fast. After 1/2 hour the wine is perfect. Flinty, citrusy chablis. No signs of age, fresh and sappy. Happy birthday, cellartracker!
