Previous notes are highly indicative of the quality and delicious-ness of this wine. Perfectly weighted, likely due to the vintage. The wine is very right bank, and very much in a sweet spot for only 5 years post vintage. 15-30 minutes of decanting puts the wine right in harmony....
The 90plus scores are appropriate...this wine is a killer deal for the $35-$45 price it sold for a year or two ago. I've paid significantly more for wines that didn't come close to leaving me this charmed.

from memory - consumed a month ago - Delicious, and a serious value at $36. Bigger boned than many normal Brunello bottlings in the price range, which seems to be the house style. That said...very, very Brunello. I remembered dried, slightly confected sour cherry, blueberry/plum fruit, without being cloying or raisined...More typical brunello baking spice, with less of the herbal/menthol nuances you'll find from cooler vintages from different houses...
I don't recall any notes of advanced aging, and the acidity seemed perfect so I don't think there's any rush to consume....Wait wait another year before my next bottle and check back in...

2013 Domaine Drouhin Oregon Chardonnay Arthur

Go figure. Drouhin can make decent Bourgogne Blanc from WV Chardonnay grapes. Well made, if unexciting. $30 goes further with premier cru Chablis.
