Drank over 2 nights. First night with smash burgers. Second night with honey garlic chicken. This wine was great on the first night and even better the next! Dark ruby color. Dark cherries and leather and plum. The tannins started a bit firm and softened day 2. This is a fantastic wine for the price.

Drank a glass poured from a freshly opened bottle at The Pied Piper restaurant bar in the Palace Hotel in San Francisco. I paired it with a great burger. I was thinking beer, but figured that visiting San Francisco, I owed it to myself to try the bar Cabernet!
The nose has cedar, leather and graphite. The tannins are medium. I suspect this will evolve positively in the next 5 years. The palate has lots of blueberry and blackberry but layered somewhat and not well integrated. There's a touch of mocha on the back end.
Not a horrible bar wine overall!

Drank this at a restaurant in the Caymans with a fantastic wine list - The Grand Ole House. Lisa - the Sommelier was awesome!!
Decanted the wine for about 30 minutes and then 30 more in the glass. Nose was full of dark berries, cigar and leather. Very full of red fruit and coffee. Long finish. Great balance and structure.
