Pop and pour. I've had this a couple times since release. A rough, brambly nose. Still a big, chalky, tannic (for a pinot), but shows elegance. Tangerine long finish.

pop and pour. Bright cherry, wet rock aromas. "Bottle-age" nose starting to come out. Chalky, but short tannins in the mouth lead to a silky, saline-like finish. Drinking well now.

At cool room temp. Given a little bit of air. Some rocky, stalky aromas intertwined with light, fresh red fruit. The very initial taste in the mouth has quality of "sweetness", although it's a dry wine. There is qualities of orange (peel?), light disappearing tannins, and acidic length. Another good entree to Rhys, but not as complex or hefty as the normal Family Farm.
