Decanted >5 hours. Lots of typical Cayuse funk on the nose. Big, bold red fruit with mushrooms, forest floor and wet moss. Very balanced wine but a short finish. Once paired with 3-2-1 smoked baby backs the wine perked up a bit and nicely completed the ribs.

Beautiful Chardonnay. Mild butter and oak with creamy notes. Delicious.

I am quite diverse as far as wine, but she is addicted to the Cali fruit. Figgins has been reco'd to me before by others, but I just haven't tried one yet.
