2012 Matthiasson Chardonnay Linda Vista Vineyard

(13.5%) Juicy and bright to start before turning soft with lemon curd-ish edges backed by white fruits and a nice minerality acidity that persists through a lasting finish that surprisingly lingers for some time.

(13%) Approximately 40% Viognier, 40% Muscat, 5% Grenache Blanc, 5% Marsanne – Full and lush with a body that make this ready for a meal. Nice spectrum of flavors, from starting with floral to ripe peaches before transitioning to mineral and finishing with lingering notes of saline. I thought this wine was interesting at $14 but at its current $9 price tag it is hard to beat.

(12%) 100% Sauvignon Blanc - From the only appellation in Burgundy designated for Sauvignon this one is clean, bright, and fresh with racy acidity, ripe lemon flavors and nice mineral depth (plus some grassy overtones). This wine id focused and delicious throughout all the way to its finish which lingers on with it lasting salinity. Very Sancerre like and well done for $11.
