Slightly muted nose that finally woke up (slightly) after roughly an hr of air. Decent mouthfeel, oily. Picked up some nice red and dark fruits accompanied with some graphite and subtle white pepper. Didn’t smack me in the face as many Paso wines do. Everything was more subdued and definitely didn’t drink hot for a wine almost 15%. Sadly, the experience ended quickly. Boy much of a finish and left me wishing there could be a bit more backbone. Drink up, not getting better.

No formal notes. Brought to a friends house for dinner. Decanted for and hour or more and only had one glass.
