Excellent bottle of wine. Really expressive nose of dark fruit with subtle vanilla. More dark fruit on the palate with some cassis and cacoa. Tannins were a bit grippy and dusty, but smoothed out after a couple of hours. We opened this about 3 hrs before dinner and it never made it to the table. We kept going back for another taste and before we knew it, the bottle was empty.

Nice bottle of wine. Really intense cherries and raspberries on the nose. It's much lighter than I'd expected, both in color and in the mouth. Upon opening, this was pretty tart, with lots of strawberry and sour cherry upfront. With time, it calmed down but still retained a nice acidic backbone. This just screams out to be paired with food, preferably some kind of smoked or cured meat. I wish I had a tub of pastrami next to me with some olives and crusty bread. That would really hit the spot with this wine.
This is a really fun wine. It's all fresh blueberries and boysenberries with some cinnamon/nutmeg. Very fruit-forward, very modern, but not in an overpowering way. There's a nice purity to the fruit and sufficient acidity to keep things from getting too out of whack. No heat at all, it goes down really smoothly. Just a great wine for kicking back and I'd imagine this would be quite the crowd pleaser.
