I find that I generally like good wine and try to appreciate wines that represent their variety and source. In recent years, I have begun to focus more on Spanish wines, particularly those from Rioja and Ribera del Duero, Oregon Pinot Noirs, and of course Bordeaux. I think that wine has never been of such high quality as we see today and it is possible to drink well for $20-30 per bottle.
