The 2006 Bouchard Père et Fils Corton-Le Corton is medium ruby in colour with a nose of sweet juicy red currants, red berries, cranberry juice and a noticeable slight volatile acidity.
Soft and sweet red fruits enters the palate with a palate cleansing freshness. There's some stalkiness coming from the mid palate with an acidity that follows. Very clean in style though one may argue that a slight earthiness that follows after. The earthiness comes up particularly a little stronger towards the end. Medium finish, pretty enjoyable thought it might be a little tart.
Enjoyable 06 vintage wine. The wine though, transforms to a strange shut-down stage after 2 hours in the bottle. I'm certain it was just taking a quick nap.
The 2008 Château Poujeaux is medium garnet in colour with a slight ruby rim. Sweet sour cherries, black cherries, slight stalkiness and vanilla pods completes the bouquet.
On the palate, there's a sweet entry of black currants with a mid palate acidity that is pretty uplifting and slighting refreshing alongside some flavours of thyme. Medium structure, easy drinking but pretty straightforward in style. Pleasurable but nothing much to showcase in depth.

The 2002 Majella The Malleea is dense garnet in colour with dusty plums on the nose alongside some herbs (thyme), cedar, vanilla pods and eucalyptus.
On the palate, the wine enters with purple and black currants and a mid-palate of woodiness that then progresses to some red sour prunes with some eucalyptus by the side. There's an attractive spectrum of flvaours on the rather broad palate. Tannins are very fine now and acidity is still well-present. Pretty balanced in style which definitely gives the wine its attractive nature. Finish is medium (-) in length, though one might argue it being a little tart and possibly drying out.
