Similar review to the last one I wrote almost a year ago. This mellowed out a little with a year in the cellar. It's not quite as harsh straight out of the bottle as it was last winter. It could certainly cellar for much longer, but is still really excellent right now. I love most of the Ridge wines as they have that ability to constantly change in the glass over time. The Geyserville seems to be the best representation of this constant change in the glass out of all the Ridge wines I have enjoyed. Cheers!

It's no secret that we enjoy Mollydooker wines, and this one was another amazing offering. The scents are of horehound, Christmas cookie, distressed leather/patina, and antique billfold. We enjoyed the flavors of baked buttery fruitcake, torte with anisette, star anise and it's overall plumminess, and cocoa notes. I do agree with a prior observation on this site that it has quite a lot of sediment, and would benefit from a short decanting to leave it behind. I don't want to ramble on too much in this review, but to make a very long story shorter, we used this bottle in our wedding ceremony and totally loved it! Cheers!
