This 2008 is surprisingly developed, brown and orange in color, on the nose delicious aging aromas, coffee, chocolate, prunes, dark ripe fruit, on the palate complex, leather and mushroom, long balsamic aftertaste of forest floor and licorice. Should be drunk now, further storage is not recommended. Mature 92 p

10/10/2016 7:26:00 AM - Antinori has vineyard and accommodation an hour's drive south of Florence. Ultra-modern and certainly not among the cheapest places. I can also recommend San Felice Chianti Classico (http://www.agricolasanfelice.it/en/) A wonderful place, both for accommodation and for food and wine. Also nice to take a trip to Montalcino, it's a very nice little village.
10/8/2016 3:31:00 PM - Have any suggestions for Tuscany Per - Harald? Going this fall and have 3 nights in Florence booked. Thinking about Lucca, somewhere in Brunello or possibly Greve or Cortona too. Might try to visit Stella Compalta.
