Medium to deep ruby. Herbaceous black cherry on the nose. Hint of forest floor and thyme. On the palate bright cherry, lively acidity, nearly resolved tannins and a rich mouth feel. Drinking well now. Old world, old school and old world charm. Wish I had bought more. Excellent value.

Pale ruby. Beautiful nose from the second I popped the cork. Violet, wet grass, red berry, strawberry. Palette not quite as lifted. Herbal/medicinal, red berries, just a hint of tannic bitterness, but I don’t get the sense that this is one to wait much longer for. Balanced and structured, I believe it’s in its drinking window now. Whatever it’s slightly lacking in elegance, it makes up for in its clean and straightforward profile. An upright wine.

Deep garnet. Alcoholic, herbal nose—thyme dominates, also pencil lead. At the edges some dark berry. Bold on the palate. I could mistake it for an Australian wine because the first thing that came to mind was berry flavored pancake syrup. But then there's a long, herbal finish: thyme, rosemary. The tannins have resolved. Certainly won’t evolve from here, if it was ever meant to evolve. There’s a sweetnes to it that’s friendly. I like it, but it’s not really what I look for in a wine but would please the fruit bomb people. Drink now or sooner.
