8/26/2021 4:10:00 PM - Tom, I just posted a review of 2001 Solengo and agreed with your review. I had no idea you were SDwineguru. Eric Freeberg Viking92067

3/27/2021 2:58:00 PM - "We stayed in the Valle de Uco and found the wines from the higher elevations (Tupangato, etc.) to have more style, acidity and complexity than those from the vineyards closer to Mendoza." I appreciated you posting this & your thanks for the extra info on my Message Board, Tom. With this quote you've helped me to understand WHY I tend to much prefer the higher elevation AR wines over their lower altitude sibs. ;)

5/24/2017 5:33:00 AM - Thanks. Sounds similar the approach used with the 20-point UC Davis Scale, which does break it down in more detail: 2 appearance, 2 color, 4 aroma, 2 acescence or flaws, 2 dryness, 2 body, 2 flavor, 2 astringency, 2 overall.

5/23/2017 9:34:00 PM - Winophile. My numbers are for color, nose, mouth, overall quality. A 100 point wine would be 5-15-20-10. All wines start with a 50. So the worst wine would be 50 (50+0+0+0+0)
