Absolutely gorgeous wine. Refined, impeccable balance, layered with soft textures of rounded out tannins, luscious black fruit and a long finish. Drinking this wine felt like drinking the softest, smoothest piece of finely- grained sand paper, the sands representing different smooth textures in the mouthfeel. Gidon and Heekyung were blown away by this wine tonight. Paired with grilled Korean beef and marinated pork at the steakhouse.

Same notes as before; ox-blood color, gorgeous nose, long finish, greeat balance, and will improve in the coming years. Had o ver cheese, ham, and crackers in JeJu Island with our friends in the kitchen.

A gorgeous wine. Pencil lead, dark pretty ruby red color, purity of fruit and freshness with strong tannic and acidic structure. Even as a pop and pour, this was a hit, and I imagine it will evolve into something even more special in the years to come. Had over cheese/ ham/ hummus, and crackers in JeJu kitchen porch with our friends from Chonju.

While we'd been to Italy many times, we did our first dedicated trip to Tuscany last year (maybe 21?) and could believe in retrospect that we had waited that long! Really helped us better understand Italian wines, which had always been a struggle for us. Dunn has a special place with us as it was among the first wines we ever began collecting. And while Dunn was hesitant about allowing visits we did visit once. And then our daughter met someone at college who was having roommate problems; they developed a friendship and roomed together for 3 years. That's current winemaker Mike Dunn's daughter. Now we typically meet for dinner and have had some great times!
