With pinot offer coming up decided to poke head in and see how last years is doing. PnP with some left for second night. As others have pointed out this seems a little bigger than normal. Still lots of red fruits, a hint of cola, nice acids and noticeable tannins on the finish. Interested to see what shakes out on 2nd night.

Decanted 2 hours; served with dinner. Medium bodied with dark cherry to blackberry fruit over tobacco and flowers. Still tannic on the finish. Not overly complex but enjoyable with food. Drink with a solid decant or hold but I'm not sure this is going anyplace special.
