Domaine de Courcel tasting by colleagues by Ideal: Initially a little candied with a slight hint of brett that never became distracting but gained precision and structure with air. Slightly post-modern in style which reminded me of Bouley.

Domaine de Courcel tasting by colleagues by Ideal: Apparently showed Syrah-like characteristics from barrel according to critic notes, but this turned out to be one of the few '19s that I have enjoyed. Quite pretty compared to the '09 and '99, probably the most expressive out of the four wines (especially on the nose). Probably the warmer climate has helped this to be a more approachable Pommard.

Quite Parkerised to me with smoky, overly ripe and extracted flavours like mocha and cassis. Probably needs a few more years to evolve along the trajectory to where the '99 is today.
