Cork was wet but made it out without falling apart. A light reddish hue, almost like rose; not brown. Nose of berry with some spice. A bit of acid still present, so it worked with cheese and crackers. Moderate finish. Some rose notes.

Had with dinner at Patina in LA. Tasted after decant. Hitting on all cylinders. Aroma was tar, liquorish, anise, maybe bit of leather or black olive - almost just wanted to inhale all night. Mouthfeel great with balance and long finish. Too bad not made any more.

Wine still going strong, with secondary fruit present and quite a bit of acid. Definitely not tired.
