The lack of acidity makes the wine feel higher in alcohol than it is at 13.5%.

Amazing California PN at 29 years old. Earthy, brambly character with forest floor sous-bois. Red fruit and slight Chinese medicinal character on the palate. Long finish with fine, smooth tannins with a velvety mouthfeel. Medium acidity brings a nice freshness in the finish, compelling you to take another sip. Delicious.
