12/13/2020 2:45:00 PM - 2009 is still the last vintage of DuBrul that I've tried, and 2013 is the last vintage that I've bought. It became increasingly hard to get (last time I checked, it was only available to club members), and I had experienced extreme bottle variation, which may actually be due to multiple peaks and valleys as it ages. When you open the right bottle at the right time, it's a borderline religious experience. Otherwise, it's "meh". I have no idea whether or not its quality has declined in more recent vintages.

12/12/2020 10:36:00 AM - Have you tried any of the newer vintages of the Owen Roe Cabernet Sauvignon DuBrul Vineyard 2016 in particular. Owen Roe website description says its one of there best however cellartracker doesn't have any tasting notes for the past few vintages. Wondering if Owen Roe is as good as ut used to be or if they have fallen off a bit and nobody is drinking them now. In line to pickup a case of the 2016 DuBrul but wondering if maybe i shouldn't.

12/27/2019 4:15:00 PM - I ended up not being able to make it to the wine store, Diet Coke was what I had on hand :)

12/22/2019 11:47:00 PM - Hey so I just read that Zin pairs well with ham, and I'm making myself a ham Christmas dinner. I've never had Zinfandel before and was wondering if you had any recommendations for one around $50 or less.

12/9/2019 1:30:00 PM - I'm not gonna be much help on your questions. The youngest DuBrul that I've tasted is the 2009, and the youngest Anderson's CVV I've tasted is the 2007. Both of those seemed to be approaching their peaks. They both benefit from cellar time, but I think the Anderson's is the more ageworthy of the two.

12/6/2019 7:29:00 PM - Also, have you tried your 2012 Owen Roe Dubrul yet, wondering how that stacks up against the 08' and 06' thinking about grabbing half a case.

12/6/2019 7:21:00 PM - Anderson's Conn Valley Estate Reserve what vintages are drinking well now, and what is worth grabbing vintage wise to cellar?

12/5/2019 6:19:00 AM - Hey I was wondering if you had any recommendations on cabs. Looking for new things to try under $100 a bottle. As you know I'm a big fan of the Owen Roe Dubrul Cab but looking for other options as well.
