Salil comes for dinner (Chez V): [Pop and pour.] Beautiful nose of sweet citrus. Rich, crisp, complex. A delicious dry-tasting wine. Amy loves it.

Salil comes for dinner (Chez V): [Decanted at 3:30.] 6pm. Dark red and black fruit and black licorice. Still a bit tannic on the mid-palate.
7pm and served a little cooler: Showing more red fruit, licorice, and tea. Long and complex with cherries and tannin on the long finish. Earthy. Not as polished as Luca's wines, but a wine of great character from his dad. Should drink well for at least another decade.

Pop and pour. What a yummy, rich complex wine. Good acidity. Good with aged cheddar and fruit.
