The wine is medium-deep purple-garnet in colour. On the nose plum, cedar, and a hint of game. On the palate plenty of rich concentrated plum. The tannins are big, but relatively smooth. It comes across as quite fresh which for the 14.6% alcohol is quite an achievement. And the taste lingers on the palate so certainly a good length. A big wine for sure, full bodied and plenty of concentration. I am guessing this is what you would describe as a ‘Parker’ wine, but certainly enjoying it

The wine is clear and the colour is medium purple-garnet. On the nose blackcurrants, graphite and bell peppers. On the palate the tannins are huge, but smooth. Medium acidity with blackcurrants and redcurrants. Purchased from Waitrose when discounted to £10 a bottle, excellent value at this price point.

The wine is clear, the colour is medium purple. On the nose: brambles, fruits of the forest, garigue. On the palate: fruits of the forest, cherry, and Mediterranean herbs. The tannins are medium to high, but ripe. Medium acidity. Reasonable length. A typical 'Sud de France' syrah/grenache blend, well made and good value for money @ £9.25, and now is my 'everyday drinker' :)
