Glass: Zalto Bordeaux Clear, deep citrus yellow color. Beautiful deep, fully-developed nose with some sweet candied fruit, hints of smoke, wet stone and floral notes. Very complex and nice. On the palate beautifully creamy and mineral. Ripe sweet fruit mixed with a wonderful mineral core. Very good balance, beautiful tension and energy, that gets more intense with every moment in the glass. The acidity is ripe and perfectly integrated. Long, smoky-fruity finish. Full peak. 94-95

9/11/2022 3:08:00 AM - Huge Fan of Thomas Haag. Been visiting the winery for about 15 years. Not so much now as after Brexit the wines I can bring home are restricted to 24 bottles which greatly curtails my vineyard road trips to just a visit rather than a ‘shopping’ trip
4/1/2021 12:35:00 PM - Nice tasting notes for the Grünhauser Online Vintage Presentation. We liked the Bruderberg Kabinett a bit better and the Maximin Pinot Blanc a bit less than you, but basically agree with you.
5/30/2020 1:35:00 AM - It's beautiful country around here. And an incredible number of different varieties these guys grow! I picked up a few bottles from some of the guys you mentioned - vielen Dank für die Empfehlungen und schönes Pfingswochenende!
5/26/2020 2:25:00 AM - @Weinberg Falls: There are a lot of vintners to visit: Also recommended are: Jochen Beurer and Moritz Haidle in Stetten, Aaron Schwegler in Korb, Bernhard Ellwanger in Weinstadt
Have fun :)
5/26/2020 2:00:00 AM - Hi NoTrollinger, I'm planning a little tour of Württemberger Winzer this week (they've just reopened for tastings I think). You seem to be the local expert - do you have any recommendations who to visit? Schnaittmann and Aldinger are the only two on my list so far. Herzlichen Dank!
