12/8/2020 1:59:00 PM - Paul. An amazing cellar and one of which I am very envious! I would seem to be a complete amateur compared to you but I was at least pleased that we share a taste for a few of the same wines!
I guess your biggest problem will be consuming it all before it goes completely over. My daughter helps me by arriving with an empty wine carrier every time she visits us!
Anyway, enjoy your fabulous wine collection, hopefully with good friends when this madness that we are all dealing with recedes (which I believe it will). I still maintain that the occasion and the company take precedence over the wine (but a nice one helps!). Hopefully we will see our son in Chicago soon.
Btw, I might not match you on quality, but I've got you on quantity when it comes to bubbles! Kind regards Brent
4/25/2015 10:44:00 AM - Hi Paul -- thanks for the message about the Guigal Cote Rotie. I think based on your reviews/experiences and that of others, I am going to change my note to a NR, but keep the text. I don't know if it was an off bottle, or perhaps it is just not to my taste, but I don't want to skew the overall ratings if this is anomaly.

3 of 12…decanted at 4:00 drank at 7:30. Good fruit, tannins softened, nice minerality, good balance and finish.
