Critic tasting note: "Perhaps all I need to say is, Heart-stopping! From start to finish, this is off the charts. Power, concentration, elegance, refinement, length and complexity is here in spades. If the nose doesn't steal the show, it is the more than 60-second finish that lingers, expands, builds and fleshes out. Give it an hour or so in the decanter or enjoy it over the next 3 decades or longer. 100 Points" - 100/100, Jeff Leve, The Wine Cellar Insider

The grape bunches harvested and the berries placed in vats, the temperature rises …. Now it is time for fermentation to begin. Thanks to technology and precise temperature control, the winemaker knows how to regulate these fermentations. The wine is very aromatic and harmonious with incredibly mellowed tannins and quite low acidity. It It is a powerful wine, yet at the same time one with plenty of subtlety and harmony. Through its structure and smoothness, this wine is reminiscent of 1959 both in terms of the weather and the volume of the harvest.
