Producer tasting notes: "The nose opens with aromas of citrus fruits and an intense and complex floral aromatic palette. Rose predominates but white flowers are also present. After aeration, the aromas of pepper, hay and bell pepper dominate. On the palate, it is a tangy and fresh wine, carried by a delicate tension. A little short and with a slightly light structure, it is a pretty wine of great finesse. 11th August 2015" - Chateau Cheval Blanc

- Winemaking
-
This is the first vintage of the future cellar master Gaston Vaissiere, who will oversee all the vinification of Cheval Blanc until 1986. According to the archives of Mme Foucard-Laussac, Gaston Vaissiere cannot use egg whites to fine the wine, but a chemical fining, which results in the wine losing some quality and roundness. In addition, aging could only be done in used barrels.
