On the palate, succulent black-cherry and berry flavors fall in massive undulating waves edged by firm penetrating tannins. Notes of hot asphalt after a warm summer rain, sandalwood and pickled dark fruit. Still restrained on the palate, it needs bottle ageing to reach full maturity. With extracted fruit and a warm, powerful character.
