Critic tasting note: "Buxom and heady, this is a delightfully rich, hedonistic blend of Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre. Sun-drenched mulberry and black cherry flavors are explosive on the palate yet it's an elegantly extracted, surprisingly charming wine edged with nuances of violet, dried thyme and earth. The tannins are soft in feel, making it hard to resist young, but there's plenty of time for improvement here too. Anna Lee C. Iijima" - 99/100, Wine Enthusiast

This cuvée comes from four parcels located on different terroirs which complement each other in the blend (rolled pebbles which bring fatness and power; sands for freshness and acidity; red clay covered with rolled pebbles which brings structure and body; and finally a sandy-limestone hillside which gives finesse). The vines are grown without pesticides or insecticides and the manure is natural. The land is worked without weedkiller to maintain ventilation and flexibility of the soil.

As autumn is drawing to a close and the wine presses have been washed and put away, the first wines tasted before being blended confirm what had been sensed: 2016 is going to be a fabulous vintage! And if some compare it to the magnificent 2010, some others do not hesitate to go as far as the famous star-vintage 1990… Either way, the evidence that we are witnessing the making of a great vintage is clear.

The estate's flagship cuvée, always at the top of international rankings. The robe is dark with purple reflections. On the nose, the still discreet aromas of crushed black fruits and garrigue are just waiting to melt into a noble and fresh substance, to reveal finesse and elegance on the palate.
