Critic tasting note: "Medium/full-bodied, richly textured, fresh, smoke and fruit filled wine with a generous dose of blackberry, dark red pit fruit, earth and a hint of spice and oak in the finish. Give the wine 5-7 years to age and it will be even better." - 93/100, Jeff Leve, The Wine Cellar Insider

- Producer Notes
- Saint-Joseph « Lieu-dit » is produced from the « Saint-Joseph » registered vines which originally lent their name to the appellation. This powerful and spicy wine has a lovely freshness on the palate which brings elegance and balance. This wine is a unique expression of the excellence of the lieu-dit « Saint-Joseph » appellation and these vineyards are from amongst the very best of this up-and-coming appellation in the northern Côtes-du-Rhône. These very slopes lent their name to the Saint-Joseph appellation when it was created. The label was designed by Roger PFUND, a Franco-Swiss artist who is a specialist in the design of bank notes.
