- The idea to exhaust all possibilities of getting the maximum of terroir and variety character from a wine was already alive well before the first “Unendlich” was produced. With the 1998 vintage this vision became a reality for the very first time. The first barrel tastings confirmed the creation of a Riesling with a definitive “Mozartean” personality and an infinitely long finish. Hence the chosen name for this unique wine.

Medium greenish yellow. Rich, intense yellow tropical fruit, some tangerines, blossom honey, dark minerality, very complex, with air it develops a medley of aromas, a suggestive bouquet. Muscular on the palate, finely-meshed, full-bodied, sweet fruit, enormously mineral and endowed with great raciness, surprisingly delicate despite its volume, fine nuances of coconut in the finish. Still unfathomable in its youth, huge ageing potential, enormous length, salty finish, minerality in the aftertaste. A masterpiece that will provide great drinking pleasure for decades.
