Critic tasting note: "Opens nicely, with hints of olive, earth, rubber and leather. The palate is juicy and lively, while flavors of coconut, toast and black fruit meld together in good fashion. A fresh, clean style of Syrah that's forward but not hard or tannic." - 89/100, Wine Enthusiast

- Producer Tasting Notes
-
Aromatic nose with outstanding aromas of ripe black fruits such as blackberries and figs. Aromas of crème de cassis meld with mild notes of leather and dark chocolate, which are very characteristic of Syrah from Colchagua. The palate is well balanced with rich acidity, incredibly smooth tannins, tremendous structure, and generous volume.

Vintage quality: Good
Current condition: Ready to drink
The 2008 vintage for Chile was reasonably good.
The growing season was long and dry with drought significantly cutting yields and frost also struck at certain points further reducing the harvest. However, what did survive tended to be extra concentrated and intense.
