Lovely Cab Franc in a classic Chinon style albeit with a bit more richness and roundness of fruit. Heavy green olive, blackberry compote, eucalyptus, bell pepper. In contrast to some other recent notes, I think this is drinking great right now and has good varietal characteristic.
Opened, poured into decanter and back into the bottle, let sit, open, for about 2 hrs. Then: Nose something like blackberry, darkish fruit. Taste is very distinctive blackberry, maybe some other dark berry. Nice balance; medium intensity; tannins and acidity not an issue. The blackberry taste stayed throughout the glass(es); finished as it started. A friend who likes cab franc had a hard time recognizing this as cab franc, but found it "interesting". Not what I was expecting, but tasty.

Sorry, but even with 24 hours of air this is not the time to drink this wine. It’s blocky and largely impenetrable. There are hints of good things to come, but there are just glimpses of herbal, earthy or tobacco notes that are quickly sucked behind the event horizon of the wine, never to be seen again. Cellar this rather than waste it.
Du très beau cab franc! Sur les fruits rouges et noirs écrasés, les poivrons rouges, la violette, la terre fraichement retournée, avec un brin de funk qui s'estomp avec l'aération. C'est frais et vineux, avec juste assez d'extraction, la texture est soyeuse, tout les éléments sont en équilibre...Termine sur une jolie finale satinée... Excellent, bouteille 1 de 3, la prochaine dans 2-3 ans.
