Carmel, Kayoumi Vineyard, Shiraz, 2014: While this wine is already 5 years old, it can also age for another 8-10 years. Decanting it for about 1-2 hours is ideal, however it is certainly not mandatory as letting it to breath in the glass for about 10 minutes should be enough for it to open up nicely. Dark royal purple in color, with on the nose, intense ripe blackberries, black currants, roasted coffee beans, as well as smoky wood. Full-bodied, extracted, with on the palate ripe black forest berries, cherries, well as hints of dried strawberries, graphite, cured tobacco leaves, smoked meat, a hint of vanilla with medium acidity and ripe tannins on the long, rich and mouth-filling finish. As always, one of the top kosher Shiraz. Drink now-2027. 15% Abv. 92+
