First 100% canaiolo for me here. Not earth shattering, but enjoyable enough rustic Italian table wine IMO. Drank after a new world CA pinot and this is more our speed, so there's that. Medium garnet in color with transparency. Aromas of dark and dried dark fruits, cherry, eucalyptus, tobacco, earth, herbs, and dried meats and blood. Really pretty impressively complex on the nose and quite enjoyable. The palate is where this wine unfortunately fall apart, with medium- body, acid, and finish, and flavors of dark fruits, cherry, a touch of meatiness, and minerals. 91 nose, 86 palate, so I'll avg. at 88.

Tasty enough Tuscan. Not rocking my world however. Seems a little generic to my mind.
